Swiss Confisa Milk Chocolate Hazelnut

Swiss Confisa Milk Chocolate Hazelnut from Switzerland Chocolats Halba is primarily a private label manufacturer. That means they have to produce chocolate of a certain standard, but it doesn't mean chocolate that will redefine chocolate in your mouth.   To indulge in a piece of Switzerland economically, Swiss Confisa isn't a broad detour off the main road.

Swiss Confisa is not a chocolate brand you probably ever would have heard of.  This is a brand made by a company called Chocolats Halba you've probably also never heard of.

Halba claims their chocolate with hazelnuts is a "test winner" in an independent test by a German consumption organization you've no doubt never heard of called Stiftung Warentest.  Were the chocolate that amazing you Chocolats Halba would be making sure you knew about it and citing all manner of prestigious awards, not some generic "test winner" status.

Chocolats Halba is primarily a private label manufacturer. That means they have to produce chocolate of a certain standard, but it doesn't mean chocolate that will redefine in your mouth the very meaning of the words chocolate.    Anyway, a revolutionary chocolate tasting experience isn't always desired.  Sometimes, you just want something reliable.

And that's where Swiss Confisa Milk Chocolate Hazelnut delivers. For the prices Chocolats Halba is charging, for a basic standard of Swiss quality, you could do a lot worse paying a lot more.  I certainly have.  To indulge in a piece of Switzerland economically, Swiss Confisa isn't a broad detour off the main road.
